I was originally going to call this ‘Tie me kangaroo down sport’ but given the current climate…
Really looking forward to going to Oz but as we’ve already been to Perth, Melbourne and Sydney in the past, we’re wondering where we should head this time round?
Uluru seems like an obvious choice, but I wouldn’t really call myself a climber. So is it worth trekking several hours to take pics of a big red rock? Of course it is!
Australian history is not covered at all at school (same with the US unless you get to A-Level so I’m told), so my only reference points seem to be Home and Away and those mates of mine that keep on emigrating.
The way our plans are panning out, we expect to end up in Oz around mid December. The hottest time of the year. I go red when I’ve been outside in the UK for 20 minutes, so that should be fun!
Any suggestions people? All greatly appreciated
